I Started in Tottenham in the 1970’s when I picked up my first bass guitar: while still in education. Since that time I joined a band for a short period of time to improve my bass skills. Then i started Working as a Session player working in studios playing my bass for various producers and developing working on my craft.
Moving to Leyton I then joined another band called Black Survivors as their Bassist for 9 years. Travelling across the United Kingdom and europe, After my time with Black Survivors in the early part of 2000 I then joined a band called One Destiny, and after that a band called Unity, after spending 3 - 5years with those bands I made a decision to become a producer. Using my creative knowledge: and musical experience. I made my ideas a reality by building my own studio from scratch. This is where I now created my record label Inna Lion’s Den Production. I then started to record up and coming artist and developing top class riddims and dubs as well as creating music from other genres. To date Inna Lions Den’s Production has now produced the first Official album for release to the music public as we move forward. The musical concept of Inna Lion’s Den Production is to bring the love the passion and the unity through our music and reaching out to all who are inspired by the music.
My inspiration in terms of bands: are the Wailers, Burning Spear, The Twinkle Brothers, Mighty Diamonds and many many more. This has given me inspiration to create the music that I do, Inna lion den studios has been running for over 25 years, originaly the name was lion den, inna lion den production only record unknown talents and so inna lion den production work with those type of singers to enhance those with there talents, Inna lion den production has been working with certain artists for over 15 years. my self ras naptali the producer for the artists has been on the live band circuit for many years, which has enhanced my studio capabilitys. my aim is to put the singers on a platform and to see them on stage performing live. inna lion den main genre is reggae, roots and dancehall. but we do create various types of genre. we just completed a various artist album which i hope you will enjoy, my inspiration comes from jah enabling me to create good music. selah.
